–MERRICK CANONS– Below you will find the canons for the Merrick Kingdom. The Merrick Kingdom is ruled by the Elswood family. Specifics for each canon are listed below. He also received Princess Laurel Elswood as his wife, though she still remains adamant about keeping her own title and name. He's incredibly possessive over her, and he's found himself far more arrogant since receiving his position. He might have helped KING --- ELSWOOD get his throne, but he should watch his back, greedy men rarely stay close to the royal family.

He turned around and instantly chose his elder brother's side, though treachery runs deep in his veins. He's been keeping distance between both his brothers, because if he chooses to support the eldest' son's claim than he could end up dead. But if he supports the second eldest, he might find himself dead anyways. She's remained bitter over the years, growing close to the eldest brother who loved their mother, but now she's finding herself in quite the pickle, with her eldest brother having married her off to a man she doesn't love and doesn't want, but unable to escape it unless she wants to bump him off the throne. He's very much a pro-species guy, tending to view humans as lesser. While he continues his quiet campaign, he also helped the eldest son gain his throne. He's probably the closest thing that King --- Elswood has for a right hand man, and he intends to make sure that no one else takes the throne. |

He's seen how terrible the Bonded can be but he also knows that there isn't just one side to the Bondeds.
